Georgie Britton
Georgie studied Textile Design at Central Saint Martin's School of Art and Design, and then spent a post graduate year studying Interior Design at Chelsea College of Art.
Having worked in both the textiles and interior design worlds, she is now happily ensconced in the painting life.
Georgie is obsessed with colour and loves playing with gestural marks and layers to recreate a sense of place. The core theme of her work is the natural landscape presented in an abstracted and expressive format.
She exhibits in galleries throughout the UK
