Dominic Brown spent the earlier part of his life as a farmer on the North Yorkshire Moors where he learnt carpentry and joinery.
Following 25 years working in IT, he left his career to join Waters & Acland Furniture School in the Lake District where he gained the skills to become a furniture maker.
The course focused on acquiring the patience and precision to create unique, custom-built pieces using various types of hardwood.
