Gail Fox
Gail graduated from Central School of Art, London, in 1980 with a ceramics BA and made pots for 30 years. For the last 15 years she has been creating abstract collages from paper. A recent unexpected gift of a kiln rekindled her love of making hand-built coil pots.
Gail has exhibited widely and her work is held in private collections all over the world. Selected for the New Light Prize Exhibition in 2023/4. Commissioned by Tricia Guild of Designers Guild to design a range of pots for Next Interiors. Her commissions include making 10 pots for fashion designer Bruce Oldfield’s home. Gail set up York Open Studios with Anne Hutchison in 2002.
